Congregation B’nai Israel, located in Northampton, MA, has a long history of integrating environmental and social justice theories and activities into their programming and observances. One example of this commitment is their development of Abundance Farm. Over the last 3 years, the Farm has become an important part of not only the congregation, but also the greater Northampton community.

With the support of the Gendler Grapevine Project, Congregation B’nai Israel is looking to more fully integrate the Farm into their religious ceremonies, celebrations, and practices. Their first events will be held this fall and will include a series of interfaith activities to raise awareness about social justice and environmental issues.

They invite people to bring family and friends to the events. For more information, visit the Harvesting Hope section of their Abundance Farm website and see the flyer below.
